Victorian Conservatories

Add a new and elegant dimension to your home with a Profile 22 Victorian conservatory. Ideal for creating additional living space, these traditional and stylish conservatories with their graceful lines and structure will add a touch of grandeur to the exterior of your home.

Whether you’re using the space as a living, dining or play room, the Victorian conservatory is available in various sizes and in a range of styles and finishes allowing it to perfectly complement the architecture of your existing home as well as your own individual tastes.

The Victorian style is a long-standing popular choice for homeowners due to its striking exterior features and ornate design that has evolved from the quintessential Victorian period. As well as the classic character and attractive aesthetics the conservatory also meets high levels of quality, durability and security.

Combining aesthetics with energy efficiency

The classic angled roof of the conservatory is not only visually striking, but offers high performance thermal efficiency in order to conserve heat and eliminate draughts so that your space will be dry and warm throughout the year.

Although there is a traditional shape and structure to the Victorian conservatory you can still have control over the look of your new extension, from the colour and finish of the frames to the position of the door. This enables you to create the ideal space that meets your exact requirements in both size, layout and design.

At Profile 22 we supply high value and quality Victorian conservatories, which will not only add splendour to your home but will also create a stunning space for you and your family to enjoy. Whether you are looking to achieve a peaceful and intimate nook or large-scale space for entertaining, a Victorian conservatory is a superb enhancement to any home.

Over our 30 years in the business we have built up a network of expert fabricators and fitters, who can work with you to create the perfect conservatory tailored to suit your individual needs and property requirements.

How should I clean my conservatory?

Always avoid solvent based or abrasive cleaners. Wash frames with soap and water every four months to remove grime and atmospheric deposits. If required, use a soft cloth to apply a non-abrasive cleaner suitable for plastics. Take care not to disturb any sealant. Clean the gutters around your conservatory as required removing leaves and debris.

Will I need planning permission for my conservatory?

This depends on the size of your planned conservatory and whether you have extended your home previously. For detached and semi-detached homes you can add up to 15% onto the original floor plan of your home or 70 cubic metres, whichever is larger, without requiring planning permission. For a terraced house the size in reduced to 10% or 50 cubic metres. Your Profile 22 installer will be happy to advise and, if required, assist you in applying for any planning permission required.

How much will my conservatory cost?

Such a high number of variables in conservatory design, size and materials make it very difficult to give an exact price. Your Profile 22 installer will be able to talk you through all of the options available and their cost implications. It is worth noting that investing in such options as roof vents, specialised heat-reflecting glass and blinds can greatly increase your enjoyment of your conservatory and make it suitable for use year-round.
